Clive Meaton

Clive has had a long career in the semiconductor industry, including with start-up companies. He has worked for Plessey Research, IQE, and Circadian Solar and more recently was Director of Operations, Institute for Compound Semiconductors (ICS) at Cardiff University.

Dr. Richard Lewis

Bio
Richard has 15 years' experience in R&D, along with teaching and management roles in academia (Swansea, Karlsruhe, Complutense, ORC Southampton, and Cardiff) and in industry (AWE, SPI Lasers, and CTT). He is a Chartered Physicist of the Institute of Physics.

Prof. Peter Ade

Bio
Peter is the Inventor of the CTT filter technology and one of the true founders of FIR astronomy. He is Professor Emeritus at Cardiff University. He directed the activity of the astronomical instrumentation research group for over 50 years, initially in London and more recently in Cardiff. He is a NASA public service medal holder(1994) and was awarded the Royal Astronomical Society’s Jackson-Gwilt medal in 2009.
